EPIC Chef Takeover by Chef Lindsay Porter

We don’t have to tell you: Chef Lindsay Porter is no stranger to the culinary scene. After competing and winning various competitions on Food Network, like Guys Grocery Games, Firemasters, Beat Bobby Flay, Chef Lindsay became the first Edmonton chef taking part in Top Chef Canada. Chef Lindsay is now bringing her bold flavors and fiery spirit by taking over EPIC 5th St for an amazing 5-course dinner paired with select wines!

Event is 18+ only.

When? June 26, at 6:30pm

Where? EPIC 5th St, 10344 105 St NW, Edmonton

How much? $160 per person (+GST). Price includes gratuity. $10 from each ticket goes towards an amazing local charity!

What's included? Expect the following delicious dinner with a modern take on classic, traditional dishes. Wine pairings will include 5 glasses of 3oz (wines TBD).

• Gougeres with whipped Lakeside fromage blanc
• Deviled Eggs with truffle aioli and red beet
• Selva Shrimp Cocktail with pear, dill, sprouted lentils, horseradish and smoked hot sauce
• Snapper en Paupiette in a banana leaf with coconut, lemongrass, Kaffir lime, and rice
• Beef Wellington with truffle, mushroom pâté, prosciutto, and beef fat glazed potato
• Sticky Toffee Pudding with a Tonka bean yogourt cream

Chosen Charity: Wellspring Alberta is a community that provides a comprehensive range of support, resources and programs so anyone living with cancer and the people who care for them can improve the quality of their lives.

About the Chef: After graduating, Lindsay travelled to Europe for two months. Lindsay has worked with many charities such as Wellspring, and Mount Royal cookoff. Lindsay has competed on Food Network and won Guys Grocery Games as well as competing and winning Firemasters, Beat Bobby Flay, Iron Chef Canada and most recently Top Chef Canada. Chef Porter has also filmed commercials for Knorr through Vice recently and loves to be involved in events throughout the city.
